Welcome to (ESLI)
Environmental Student Leadership Initiative!

FCPA's Environmental Student Leadership Initiative (ESLI) is a program designed to educate elementary school students about different environmental topics in partnership with the Fairfax County Park Authority. We use interactive and engaging techniques to get young students passionate and interested in combating environmental problems. We believe that if we can educate students at such a young age, they can accomplish a great deal in the near future and become leaders in their community.

"We really enjoyed ESLI with you this year. The kids looked forward to your visits and were excited when I told them that you would be visiting. I think it worked out really well because the 3rd grade science curriculum is very heavy on conservation, so a lot of the topics you discussed reinforced what the students had learned. You also were able to incorporate some fun projects that taught the kids that conservation can really be done by taking small steps in your home! They really liked the magazine bags and the toothbrush holder projects. It's always fun to incorporate some type of hands-on experience when learning new curriculum as well." - Nicole Barrea, Fairhill Elementary School
